Type of Visa:
Cameroon offers E-visa to foreigners. This electronic visa is issued beforehand unlike a visa- on-arrival that needs to be stamped on your passport once you arrive.
Application process:
- Start your Cameroon visa application by clicking this link. Start a new application.
- Fill out your personal information, passport details, etc. Make sure you double check your details before submitting.
- Upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned below. Make sure your documents match the specific requirements mentioned on the form.
- Pay your visa fee. Note that visa fee differs based on the type of visa you choose. The fee for a short stay tourist visa for Indians is about 252 USD including the processing fee.
- Submit your completed application and wait for it to be processed. The processing time can be anywhere between 3-7 business days.
- Once your visa is approved you will receive it on your email. From there you can download it and take a print out and carry it with you when traveling.

- A passport that is valid for at least 6 months after date of arrival in Cameroon.
- Recent passport sized, coloured photographs meeting specific requirements mentioned below.

Photo requirements:
- Photo size should be 35 mm x 45 mm
- Photo should be submitted in JPG, PNG, GIF format.
- File size should be under 300 KB
- Face should be present in 70-80% of the photo
- Photo should’ve been taken in the past 6 months
- The background must be white
- Glasses are not permitted
- Both ears should be visible
- Teeth shouldn’t be shown
- The clothes you’re wearing shouldn’t match the background
Validity of Cameroon Travel Visa:
A short term visa to Cameroon is valid for upto 180 days, which means that you can travel within 180 days of your visa being approved. Whereas, the duration of your stay can only be up to 30 days.
