Type of Visa:
Sierra Leone offers E-visa to foreigners. This electronic visa is issued beforehand unlike a visa- on-arrival that needs to be stamped on your passport once you arrive.
Application of e-visa:
- Start off by clicking this link that will redirect you to the official page of the Sierra Leone travel visa application.
- Fill out your personal details, passport details and a passport sized photo.
- Next, upload the required documents that are mentioned below.
- You will have to pay an application fees of $80 and an additional $5 processing fees (7,095 INR approx.)
- Once you have submitted the visa it will take 3-4 business for it to get processed.
- If your visa application gets approved, you will receive it on the registered email address.
Required Documents:
- You will need a scanned photo of the bio-data page of your passport. Note that your passport needs to be valid for 6 months after the date of arrival in Sierra Leone.
- You will need a recent colored passport sized photo.
- You may also need a confirmed return flight ticket and proof of funds.
Validity of e-visa:
Your e-visa will be valid for 90 days after approval and the duration of your stay can be up to 30 days.
