Kedarnath Temple is located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 11,755 feet. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, in the picturesque Kedarnath Valley, amidst the snow-capped Himalayas. Devotees from all over the world visit the temple to seek blessings during the summer months.
Tungnath Temple is renowned as the highest Shiva temple in the world, located at an elevation of 12,073 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas. This ancient temple is part of the Panch Kedar and a popular pilgrimage route.
Caution:
– Kedarnath trek is not meant for people with low tolerance to cold weather.
– You need to get up very early in the morning and be ready before 5AM.

You can take an evening flight to reach Delhi
23:00 – Assemble at H.Nizam station of Delhi and board 12401 DDN Express.
04:00 – Reach Haridwar Station
04:30 – Start traveling to Sonprayag in our mini-bus. We will take breakfast and lunch breaks on the way
15:00 – Reach Sonprayag. Here we need to embark on a short journey in a local jeep for Gaurikund. We also need to walk half km uphill with our entire backpack.
16:00 – Reach Gaurikund hotel and unwind
18:00 – Early dinner and rest
04:00 – Wake up and get ready for the exhilarating trek.
05:00 – You can load your main backpack on a mule and carry a daypack for the 16kms uphill trek. Breakfast and lunch breaks on the way.
14:00 – Reach base camp and check-in the cottages. Rest for sometime
17:00 – Walk to the temple (0.5km) and get the darshan. We will wait for the evening Aarti before returning to base camp.
07:00 – Start trekking back to Gaurikund (16kms downhill)
12:00 – Reach Gaurikund and then take a local jeep to Sonprayag.
14:00 – Lunch at Sonprayag and then we board our minibus to Chopta village. We can also visit Guptkashi, subject to availability of time
17:00 – Unwind in the beautiful homestay of Chopta.
19:00 – Have a delicious local dinner.
08:00 – Trek to Tungnath (3.5kms uphill) through the beautiful bugyals of Garhwal Himalayas.
10:30 – Reach Tungnath and have darshan.
11:30 – If you have energy then we can further trek to Chandrashila peak (1km) and then return to Chopta by evening
19:00 – Dinner and gupshup
20:00 – We can do stargazing if the sky is clear
08:00 – Start traveling back to Haridwar in our mini-bus after breakfast. Lunch on the way
17:00 – Reach Haridwar. If time permits then we can go for Ganga-Aarti
20:00 – Shopping and dinner at Haridwar
00:14 – Midnight train to Delhi
04:30 – Reach H.Nizam in morning
Later, you can take return flight from Delhi
