Itinerary

Day 1:Saturday

You can reach here by afternoon. Check-in and rest well to overcome the jet lag.
Prepare yourself for an exhilarating tour in the winter wonderland.

Day 2:Sunday

Take a morning flight to Bodø, located just above the Arctic circle, thus a good place to hunt the northern lights. In the afternoon, we can visit the Stormen bibliotek, a large public library with stunning views of the sea.
After dinner, we will travel to a location a few kms away from the city. It will be a tour of approx 4-5 hours with hot chocolate and snacks. We might also come across the reindeers.

Day 3:Monday

In the morning, we will visit the spectacular Saltstraumen Bridge connecting the islands of Knaplundsøya and Straumøya. It is the location to witness the strongest tidal currents, a constantly- changing rush of whirlpools.
In Afternoon, we will board a Ferry and cross the Norwegian sea to reach Lofoten. The wild, raw nature of the Lofoten Islands provides some of the best chances in the world of seeing the northern lights.

Day 4:Tuesday

In the morning, you will explore Lofoten’s most dramatic landscape where the mountains plunge straight into the sea, and small bridges connect the small islands. It is one of Norway’s most photographed areas.
After evening, we will set out for the longest hunt for the northern lights in the wilderness. The locals of the islands are the best guides for the expeditions.
Here, we might also get to see the beautiful Icelandic horses.

Day 5:Wednesday

We will catch the early morning bus to Narvik (7 hours). This is one of the most scenic roads of Europe passing through the islands, bridges and mountains of the Nordic region.
Checkin and rest in the afternoon.
In the evening we will board the famed Northern lights train for a tour of 4 hours. It will take you far up in the mountains, away from the bright city lights where you have a great chance of catching the lights. The train also stops at the border town of Sweden.

Day 6:Thursday

In the daytime we can catch the cable car to the top of Narvikfjellet mountain, one of Norway’s top ski destinations, surrounded by high mountains, deep valleys, and spectacular fjords. Take a sip of hot coffee while you see the young athletes race down the white slopes.
In the evening we will set out again to chase the northern lights in a remote location away from the city.

Day 7:Friday

Oslo City Tour:

In the morning, take a flight back to Oslo and then spend the remaining day exploring the capital city
Akershus Fortress: A medieval Castle and a national monument
Polar Exploration Museum: A unique wooden ship with a century-old expedition history
National Opera House: A world-class venue for performers
And the most important part of the trip i.e. Shopping.

Day 8:Saturday
